Isaiah and Audrey united at last in the month of December of 2019 in Boynton Beach at Benvenuto Restaurant & Banquet Facility. They got engaged April 14th, 2018 and the Groom wanted to get married right away. He must’ve sensed the Virus coming because this was the last Hair By Misa Wedding prior to the Pandemic. Despite the madness though I am still thankful to see the love although restrictions have been placed upon us during this time. Couples are still making the union happen. The union of Isaiah and Audrey was an unforgettable experience from the variety of genres of music, the selections of food, the ambiance, the togetherness on both sides of the family, and the endless moments of dancing.
It was truly an honor to do Audrey’s Hair. I was first introduced To Audrey from her now Husband Mr. Isaiah Chin. I actually was the Hairstylist for the friend that hitched these two together, which I think is pretty cool. Two beautiful love stories Hair By Misa was a part of AH-MAZ-ZING…but anyway let’s speak on Hair.
Audrey requested two looks one for the ceremony and another for the reception. I usually like to prepare for any obstacles, so if she says we have an hour which I believed was during the cocktail hour I’m calculating 20-30 mins, so said so done. Things happen which is why it is so important for you to have a person. Audrey’s Sister was her person. You need a person that is not afraid to tell you about your life including your Hairstylist when her first 2 Uber drivers decide to play their life at 4 am. Yes, our start time was 5 am we needed to be done before 10 am we finished by 9:15 am. Are you guys tired of reading yet? Well here are some pictures to enjoy.
Upon the MOH’s request, we decided to tone the middle section down a bit, but I was loving the drama hehe.
Mother of The Groom.
May I add that the food was delicious!?!
Daddy Hair Touch Up Duties.
Guest Blowout for a Tia from DR.
Bride with Mother and Father and her lovely Groom.
This was the moment right before the reception. I couldn’t relax until Audrey was out of this suite enjoying her day. Oh, and for those who would like to know, we added Hair By Misa Extensions in for both looks to add volum (very natural right). Yeah! That’s how we like it. She looks so chill right here I LOVE IT!
Let’s just take a moment to acknowledge the Hairstylist that not only glammed up the Bridal Party but some of the guests of the wedding too. Then quickly got dressed to attend the wedding. I was ready in about 35 minsish then I headed straight to the venue. Weddings are such a beautiful experience especially when the couple has a supportive family, but just know this girl was beat the next day. I don’t think I was ready for my day the following day until about 5 pm. That’s my life and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I hope you guys enjoyed these captures of the lovely MR. & MRS. CHIN, but before you go check out what Mrs. Chin had to say.
How was your dating life prior to meeting Isaiah?
I’ve had a couple of relationships before I met Isaiah that lasted some time. They weren’t the greatest, other than that I didn’t really date around.
Did your previous dating life deter you from pursuing Isaiah?
Yes, mainly because of the bad experiences I’ve had. I wasn’t THAT eager to open up and start dating again.
How did you and Isaiah meet?
We met through a mutual friend. He messaged me first.
What was different about Isaiah?
The way he presented himself. I felt he was genuine and really straight forward. Our first phone call I believe lasted almost 3 hours. We would talk about anything and everything! I never felt a genuine connection like that with someone.
Did you know he was going to propose? If so how?
I had a feeling that SOMETHING was going on for sure. Some people couldn’t help but slip up on minor details or acted weird, LOL
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
Besides marrying the love of my life, seeing everyone come together on the dance floor!!! It was so much fun!
If there was anything you could change about your wedding day what would it be?
Just that I wish I had gotten more sleep the night before!
How important do you think it is to have a good support system during your wedding day?
Extremely!!! There are just so many things going on at the same time and you’re hoping everything is going according to plan. So, when those curveballs come unexpectedly, you have to have your team there to back you up for sure.
What tips would you recommend for future Brides?
Keep it simple, get plenty of rest, enjoy your husband…..AND MAKE SURE TO HAVE FUN!!!
